NATASHA DIAZ

Dr. Natasha Diaz is a board‑certified Family Medicine physician who founded Roots Health DPC to provide transparent, affordable, and patient‑centered primary care. She believes that direct primary care eliminates the barriers created by insurance middlemen, allowing her to spend more time with patients, offer same‑day appointments, and maintain continuous, trusting relationships. Her practice emphasizes personalized service, unlimited access via phone, text, and email, and a flat membership fee that covers all routine visits, labs, and medications.

Graduating from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago in 2001 and completing a Family Medicine residency at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in San Francisco in 2004, Dr. Diaz has cared for patients of all ages—from newborns to seniors—in settings ranging from outpatient clinics to rural emergency care. She has also served as faculty for family medicine residents at MacNeal Hospital and West Suburban Medical Center, and she brings that teaching experience to her DPC practice, focusing on preventive health, chronic disease management, and holistic wellness.
