N. Anton Borja

Dr. Borja is a board‑certified family physician who founded Integrative Osteopathic Family Medicine of Vermont, a Direct Primary Care practice in South Burlington in 2023. He believes in relationship‑centered primary care that removes insurance barriers, offering same‑day access, direct communication, and comprehensive wellness plans for his members.

His clinical background blends conventional family medicine with East Asian integrative modalities. He earned his DO degree from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, completed a family medicine internship at Columbia University’s Center for Family and Community Medicine and a residency at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine. He also holds a master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, post‑doctoral training in medical acupuncture at UCLA, and a diplomate in classical homeopathy.

Dr. Borja incorporates acupuncture, herbal medicine, osteopathic manipulative treatment, nutrition and mind‑body practices into individualized care plans, aiming to promote health resilience and long‑term well‑being for his DPC members.
