She earned her MD from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1998 and completed family medicine residencies at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP) and serves as Medical Director for Direct Primary Care at CHI Health Clinic in Central, South Carolina.
