Michele Gero

Dr. Michele Gero, MD is a Board‑Certified Family Medicine physician who discovered Direct Primary Care in 2018 and felt it aligned with her core values and the reason she entered medicine. She founded Aspire Direct Primary Care in Venice, Florida in October 2019 to provide comprehensive, patient‑centered care without the constraints of insurance. Dr. Gero emphasizes longer appointments, direct communication, and a partnership model that puts patients first.

Originally from rural northern New York, she earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2001, completed an internship and residency in Family Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY, and practiced in Connecticut before moving to Florida in 2011 where she worked in corporate medicine. She is married with three children and enjoys family time, reading, and jewelry making.
