MICHAEL HUGHES

Dr. Michael Hughes is a family practice physician who has served the Grand Valley community since 1994. He earned a BA in Molecular Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1981, a Master of Science in Public Health in 1989, and his MD from the University of Colorado Health Sciences in Denver in 1991. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at St. Mary's Family Practice in 1994 and practiced at Western Valley Family Practice until 2018. Dr. Hughes is passionate about health promotion, preventive care, and holistic healthcare, and at Trailhead Clinics he focuses on Direct Primary Care principles, providing unlimited visits, personalized care, and a calm, compassionate approach, especially for men’s health issues.
