MICAH YU

Dr. Micah Yu is an integrative rheumatologist who blends conventional rheumatology with lifestyle, functional, and integrative medicine to treat complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. He earned his MD from the Chicago Medical School and holds master’s degrees in Healthcare Administration and Biomedical Sciences. He completed an Internal Medicine residency and a Rheumatology fellowship at Loma Linda University and further refined his expertise through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona. Dr. Yu is quadruple board‑certified in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, Integrative Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine, and is also certified in Functional Medicine.

As co‑founder of Dr. Lifestyle, Dr. Yu has built a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model that emphasizes long‑term patient relationships, same‑day access, and a whole‑person approach that integrates nutrition, exercise, stress management, and environmental health. Patients receive unlimited visits, direct communication, and personalized care plans designed to address the root causes of disease rather than merely managing symptoms. His own experience living with autoimmune arthritis informs his compassionate, patient‑centered philosophy.
