MATTHEW SCOGGIN

Matthew Scoggin, FNP, is a Founding Nurse Practitioner at Healthspan DPC. He discovered his passion for healthcare during an anatomy class in high school, which inspired him to pursue a career in nursing. He earned his undergraduate degree from Culver-Stockton College, where he also played college basketball. After graduating nursing school at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Matt began his career caring for acutely ill patients in the hospital. This experience deepened his commitment to improving patient outcomes and sparked a desire to make a broader impact on the health of individuals and families within the community. Motivated to expand his knowledge and scope of practice, Matt pursued further education and recently graduated from Walden University as a nurse practitioner. He is excited to bring his expertise, compassion, and dedication to Healthspan, where he looks forward to helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals.
