MARK DEVRIES

Dr. Mark DeVries is a Family Physician at Bethlehem Direct Care, a Direct Primary Care practice in Hickory, NC. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Pre‑Medical from Appalachian State University in 1990 and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine in 1994. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood, SC in 1997. Dr. DeVries is dedicated to the DPC model, emphasizing affordable, transparent pricing and unhurried, personalized visits that allow him to focus on chronic disease management, preventive care, and patient education. Outside the office he enjoys watching Avengers movies with his kids, browsing the "As Seen on TV" aisle, and playing on his son’s drum set.
