Dr. Marissa Esquivel is a native of Chesterfield, Virginia and a graduate of the Math and Science Center at Clover Hill High School. She graduated summa cum laude from the College of William and Mary and earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013. She completed her Family Practice Residency at Blackstone Family Practice Residency in Chesterfield, VA, where she later served as Residency Site Director for seven years, teaching medical students and residents in rural family medicine. Dr. Esquivel founded Magnolia Grove Direct Primary Care to provide personalized, high‑quality care without insurance constraints. She is trained in Lifestyle Medicine, has a special interest in Women’s Health, and is fluent in Spanish, having worked with the Hispanic community both in Virginia and abroad.
