Dr. Marilyn Galindo, MD, is a board‑certified physician in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine and the founder of Leon Springs Primary Care. She is passionate about the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, believing that removing insurance middlemen allows her to provide affordable, high‑quality, and personalized care. Dr. Galindo strives to build close, long‑term relationships with her patients, offering direct communication through text, email, video chat, and even home visits, so patients receive timely and compassionate attention without copays.
Dr. Galindo earned her MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2014 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at MIT. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2017. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is dedicated to treating each patient with dignity and respect, especially those navigating obesity, and she actively advocates for her patients within the community.
