MALIA SWANSON

Dr. Malia Swanson, MD, MSCP, is a Family Medicine physician and Menopause Society Certified Provider at Boulder Valley Direct Primary Care. She grew up in Boulder, Colorado, and is passionate about serving the community that raised her. Dr. Swanson earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Azusa Pacific University and her MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed a Family Medicine residency at Cahaba UAB in Birmingham, Alabama. As a co‑founder of Boulder Valley DPC, she emphasizes a personalized, whole‑person approach, building lasting relationships with patients, reducing wait times, and providing direct access via phone or text. Her DPC philosophy centers on patient empowerment, preventive care, and holistic health, aiming to make each visit easy, pleasant, and collaborative.
