Madhuri Sharma

Dr. Madhuri Sharma is a board‑certified family physician who completed her family medicine residency at the University of Virginia, where she served as Chief Resident, and a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine in Arizona. She has additional training in yoga therapy and Ayurveda and is certified by The Menopause Society. Over the past decade she has worked in a variety of primary‑care settings, including community‑based private practice, a large managed‑care organization, tele‑medicine guideline development, and as medical director of a Federally Qualified Health Center.

Dr. Sharma founded Flow Integrative Medicine and Direct Primary Care in Wilmington, Delaware to return to her hometown and practice medicine without the interference of third‑party payors. Her DPC philosophy is that good health should be simple, sustainable, and rooted in everyday habits. She believes the body has an innate capacity for self‑healing when patients align lifestyle, nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management. Patients have direct access to her via text, phone, video, or office visits, and she sees them as frequently as needed.

She emphasizes a holistic, proactive approach that integrates functional medicine, allopathy, yoga, and Ayurveda. Dr. Sharma is especially passionate about women’s health—including menstrual health, fertility, postpartum care, and menopause—and enjoys teaching patients how simple lifestyle choices can improve gut health, mental clarity, and overall well‑being.
