Dr. Lyndle Shelby, MD, opened Morningstar Medical Direct Primary Care in Hull, Iowa on January 1, 2019 to provide a Direct Primary Care model that restores the personal relationship between physician and patient. He created the practice to eliminate the paperwork and insurance barriers that he felt were compromising patient care, offering transparent pricing, same‑day communication, and a focus on preventive health.

Dr. Shelby earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2013 and completed a Family Medicine residency at the University of Wyoming in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He brings a non‑traditional background and a commitment to community‑focused, patient‑centered care, emphasizing direct access via phone, text, and email, as well as home visits when needed.
