LEAH JACOBSON
Pediatrics
About
Dr. Leah Jacobson has practiced pediatric medicine in San Antonio for over 20 years. She founded Personal Pediatrics to provide high-quality, personalized care to each child and their family. As a Direct Primary Care physician, Dr. Jacobson does not contract with traditional insurance companies, allowing her patients greater access, more optimal care, and more time with the physician. She has a hands‑on, holistic approach to patient care and is personally invested in the health and well‑being of her patients, educating, informing, and partnering with parents to make the best healthcare decisions for their children.
Dr. Jacobson grew up in College Station, TX, earned a B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University, and attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her pediatric residency at the same institution, then worked at UT‑Health’s downtown pediatric clinic before transitioning to private practice in 2003. She remains active in the community, serving as a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of several Texas medical societies.
