About
Dr. Layne Kamalu was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. After spending his childhood and teen years in Hawaii, Arizona, and Germany, he served an LDS mission in Munich, Germany. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University before attending St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Kamalu completed a residency in Family Practice at Scott Medical Center, Scott Air Force Base in Illinois and is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He has been practicing family medicine in Kaysville, Utah for over 25 years, focusing on comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages.
