LAURA WADE

Dr. Laura Wade, MD, was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, and earned both her undergraduate degree and her medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. After medical school she completed a family medicine residency at St. Joseph Family Medicine Residency in Denver, where she cared for patients of all ages, from prenatal care to geriatrics. Returning to Arizona to be closer to family, Dr. Wade worked for North Country HealthCare in Williams before co‑founding Remedy Direct Primary Care in Flagstaff, where she serves as a co‑owner and primary care physician. She is passionate about the Direct Primary Care model because it allows her to build long‑term, trusting relationships with patients, provide same‑day access, and focus on preventive health without the constraints of insurance billing.

At Remedy DPC, Dr. Wade emphasizes personalized, relationship‑centered care, offering comprehensive family medicine services that include a special interest in women’s health and pediatrics. She believes that continuity of care and open communication are essential to achieving optimal health outcomes, and she strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and supported. Outside of her practice, Dr. Wade enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan and their two children, reading fiction, hiking, and skiing.
