Kristy Mount

Dr. Kristy Mount is a board‑certified family physician who founded Deserving of Joy to bring relationship‑centered, Direct Primary Care to Indianapolis. She emphasizes unhurried, whole‑person visits that prioritize trust, preventive health, and patient empowerment. Dr. Mount earned a B.S. in Biology from Purdue University, a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Indiana University School of Medicine, and an MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She completed a residency in Family Medicine at Ball Memorial Hospital and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. With over a decade of experience, she integrates expertise in menopause, obesity medicine, mental health, and preventive care with a compassionate, humanistic approach.
