Kristin Strange

Dr. Kristin Strange is a pediatrician based in Lake Park, NC. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Studies at Clemson University and her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed a pediatric residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC in 1997. After more than 25 years of practice in the traditional health‑care system, she founded Thrive Pediatrics & Wellness, PLLC in February 2024 to practice Direct Primary Care. Dr. Strange emphasizes building long‑term relationships with patients and families, focusing on root‑cause medicine and individualized care rather than brief, episodic visits. She is passionate about returning to the basics of medicine and fostering a supportive, community‑oriented practice environment.
