Dr. Kristen Roeder is a native Texan who earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Houston‑Clear Lake and conducted research at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. She pursued her medical degree at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland, graduating with honors, and completed a Pediatric Medicine residency at Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio. Dr. Roeder has over 10 years of experience in neonatal intensive care, outpatient clinics for children with complex health needs, and pediatric emergent/urgent care. She founded Caritas Pediatrics & Wellness in Austin to practice medicine in a holistic, relationship‑centered way, emphasizing personalized care, addressing root causes of health issues, and reducing reliance on rushed visits or urgent‑care trips. Her DPC philosophy focuses on building long‑term relationships, treating each child as a unique individual, and integrating wellness and preventive strategies into everyday pediatric care.
