KRISTEN DALL-WINTHER

Dr. Kristen Dall-Winther is a Wisconsin native, born and raised in Racine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin‑Madison in 1999 and entered the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 2000, receiving her MD in 2004. After a year as a microbiologist, she completed a chief residency in Family Medicine at the University of Wisconsin’s Madison Residency Program, finishing in 2007. Dr. Dall‑Winther then spent a decade at the Mayo Clinic in La Crosse, providing comprehensive primary care and delivering babies.

In 2019 she founded Birchwood Family Medicine, embracing the Direct Primary Care model to offer affordable, whole‑person care. Her practice’s mission is to provide careful, kind, evidence‑based, and accessible medical care to everyone in Northwest Wisconsin. She emphasizes building trusting, long‑term relationships with patients, allowing her to spend more time on preventive health and personalized treatment while minimizing administrative burdens.
