KIMBERLEY WYRICK

Dr. Wyrick has local Virginia roots and has also spent time in Pennsylvania. She is a former long‑distance runner (school years) and enjoys reading, playing piano, learning about other cultures, dabbling in very small‑scale edible landscaping, assisting with an ultramarathon, and tent camping when time permits. She enjoyed fifteen years of working with patients and staff at Rockingham Family Physicians but decided to establish her own direct primary care practice when her physician partners sold the practice to Augusta Health. She has been eagerly planning this patient‑oriented model since learning about DPC in 2018. The model matches her practice style: she spends ample time with patients, educates them, encourages healthier lifestyles, and addresses medical concerns with a thorough, evidence‑based approach. She hopes to form new long‑term doctor‑patient relationships while continuing many from her former practice.
