Dr. Kellar McCloy, MD, MS, FAWM is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician and a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Bucknell University, studying French, English, and Economics, then completed a Master’s in Pharmacology and his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. McCloy completed his Family Medicine residency at St. Peter Family Medicine in Olympia, Washington, with a focus on Sports Medicine, and has practiced with Providence, Group Health, and Kaiser before establishing his own practice.

In 2023, Dr. McCloy founded Liberty Bell Family Medicine, a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in Twisp, Washington. He emphasizes a patient‑centered model that provides unprecedented access, longer visits, and direct communication via phone, text, or email. His DPC philosophy centers on building lasting doctor‑patient relationships, offering comprehensive primary care, and integrating his expertise in wilderness, sports, and addiction medicine to meet the diverse needs of his community.
