Katie Pencek

Dr. Katie Pencek is a board‑certified internal medicine physician and the founder of Hometown Health, a Direct Primary Care practice in Hunt Valley, Maryland. She grew up in Northern Baltimore County, earned her undergraduate degree at Clemson University, and received her medical degree from the University of South Carolina in Greenville. After completing an internal medicine residency at Inova Fairfax Medical Center in Northern Virginia, she served as a Clinical Instructor at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center before launching her own micro‑practice.

At Hometown Health, Dr. Pencek emphasizes a patient‑centered, relationship‑focused model that prioritizes preventive care, long appointments, and direct access.
