Katherine Weeks

Dr. Katherine Weeks is a board‑certified family physician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP). She earned her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center (now Atrium Health) in Charlotte, NC. With more than 23 years of clinical experience, Dr. Weeks is passionate about the breadth and challenge of family medicine and believes in building lasting relationships with her patients.

At Blue Skies Family Medicine, Dr. Weeks leads a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model that eliminates insurance billing and offers patients a simple, affordable monthly membership. This approach allows her to spend more time with each patient, provide same‑day appointments, and offer comprehensive services—including labs, screenings, and preventive care—without additional copays or deductibles. Her philosophy centers on accessibility, personalized care, and fostering a partnership where patients feel heard and empowered to manage their health.
