Katherine (Katie) McCrea

Dr. Katherine (Katie) McCrea grew up in the small town of Hinckley, Illinois and earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine with an emphasis on rural medicine. She completed a family medicine residency at St. Mary's Family Medicine Residency in Grand Junction, CO and is board certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. McCrea also serves as a Senior Clinical Instructor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical School, bringing academic experience to her practice.

Her mission at McCrea Family Practice is to get back to the basics of medicine by building meaningful, transparent relationships with patients. She believes that quality care comes from having the time to truly know each individual, focusing on patient‑centered care rather than insurance constraints. This Direct Primary Care philosophy drives her commitment to personalized, accessible, and community‑focused family medicine.
