Dr. Juana Ambriz de Williams, DNP, FNP-BC, was born and raised in Cameron County, Texas. She earned her nursing degree at the University of Iowa and later completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Valparaiso University, receiving board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015. With 15 years of clinical nursing experience in critical‑care settings—including intensive care and emergency departments—she founded Dunes Family Clinic in 2017 to provide Direct Primary Care (DPC). Dr. Juana believes that effective healing requires time to build direct therapeutic relationships, and she strives to make primary care more personal, convenient, and valuable for families.
