Joy Magruder

Dr. Joy L. Magruder (Harms) is a family medicine physician at Direct Family Care of Northern Colorado, a Direct Primary Care practice that emphasizes preventive medicine for every member of the family. She believes in building long‑term relationships with patients, offering same‑day appointments, direct communication via phone, email or text, and a focus on whole‑person health rather than episodic, insurance‑driven visits. Dr. Magruder is trained in family medicine and has extensive experience managing a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, gynecological care, depression, ADHD, skin lesions, ear infections, and colds. She graduated from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in 1997 and completed a family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota in Duluth, where she honed her skills in comprehensive primary care. With over 25 years of experience, she is dedicated to providing personalized, accessible care to the Northern Colorado community.
