Josie Olsen
Family Medicine
About
I started my medical journey in college when I discovered my love for anatomy and biochemistry. I first worked in a research lab, and while my work was published, I desired a job with more social interaction. I attended medical school in the Pacific Northwest where my osteopathic training emphasized a holistic approach to patient care, the interconnection of the body's systems, and Osteopathic Manipulation Techniques (OMT). After completing my military service, I moved to Osprey and worked with a company that provided home visits to residents in an assisted‑living environment, becoming proficient in mobile clinic services and procedures. I then built the policies and procedures for a multi‑specialty clinic, experiences that uniquely prepared me to start my own practice. I am passionate about medicine, staying up‑to‑date with the latest literature, and I believe Direct Primary Care is the answer to poor outcomes and rising medical costs.
