Josh Wenzell

Dr. Josh Wenzell is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician with experience in primary care settings for patients of all ages. He provides preventative screening and interventions along with chronic disease management. He enjoys applying Evidence Based Medicine, empowering patients to incorporate shared decision‑making, and decreasing or deprescribing unnecessary medications and medical interventions. He values the Direct Primary Care model because it allows ample time to understand patients, their values, and to create personalized wellness plans. Dr. Wenzell is from Enon, OH and completed his Bachelor of Science at Furman University, earned his MD from Wright State University – Boonshoft School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Bethesda Family Practice in Cincinnati, OH where he served as chief resident. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing board games, reading science‑fiction and medical history, playing piano and French horn, and traveling around the world. He is also fluent in Spanish.
