JOSEPH PETRIE

Joseph Petrie, PA‑C, graduated from Idaho State University and has been practicing medicine since 2013, primarily in urgent‑care and telemedicine settings. He founded Gem Express Care in 2016 to serve the Emmett, Idaho area with a walk‑in clinic, and later expanded his vision to a statewide telemedicine program that became Direct E‑Care. Petrie’s approach emphasizes direct primary care principles: low‑overhead, subscription‑based services that eliminate surprise billing and focus on preventive, whole‑person health.

As the Founder and Executive Director of Gnesio Health, Petrie integrates root‑cause and functional‑medicine philosophies, emphasizing nutrition, lifestyle, and patient education. He also co‑owns White Cloud Wellness, where he works pro‑bono with local pastors and community members to improve health outcomes in underserved rural areas. His mission is to provide affordable, high‑quality care that empowers patients to take charge of their health without reliance on costly interventions.
