Dr. John Muney, MD, is President and Medical Director of AMG Medical Group, a Direct Primary Care practice in New York. With more than 45 years of surgical experience, he leads a team dedicated to providing affordable, high‑touch primary care without insurance middlemen.

He earned his MD from Cerrahpasa Medical School, University of Istanbul in 1974, completed internship, residency and a fellowship in vascular surgery at Brooklyn Cumberland Medical Center. Board‑certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, he brings a surgeon’s precision to primary care, emphasizing preventive health, same‑day access, and long‑term patient relationships.
