John Long

Dr. John Long Jr., MD, completed his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2008 and has more than 15 years of experience as a family medicine physician. After a decade in traditional practice, he left corporate medicine to found Long Life Direct Primary Care (Long Life DPC) in 2023, driven by a desire to provide personalized, relationship‑based care without the interference of insurance and corporate constraints. Dr. Long emphasizes a DPC philosophy that prioritizes direct access, same‑day appointments, and holistic health planning for individuals and families.

In addition to his family medicine training, Dr. Long completed a fellowship in advanced obstetrics, delivering nearly 1,000 babies and offering comprehensive prenatal and maternity care through his practice. He also teaches at the St. Anthony Hospital family medicine residency program, reinforcing his commitment to education and mentorship while delivering full‑scope primary care to his DPC members.
