JOHN FURLOW

Dr. John Furlow graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Chemical Engineering degree and earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine, graduating in 1997. He has been practicing medicine in Fayetteville, Arkansas since June 2000, bringing over 25 years of experience in Internal Medicine to his patients.

Dr. Furlow’s practice is built on a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model that prioritizes a patient‑focused, not problem‑focused, approach. By removing the constraints of health‑insurance billing, he is able to spend ample time with each patient, offering unhurried appointments, same‑day visits when needed, and after‑hours contact to prevent unnecessary emergency‑room visits.

He believes in fostering a positive, quality doctor‑patient relationship, limiting his panel size to ensure accessibility and personalized care. His DPC philosophy emphasizes empowering patients to make informed health decisions while providing comprehensive, affordable primary care services.
