JOEL FANKHAUSER

Dr. Joel Fankhauser is a board‑certified physician in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He earned his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in 2006 and completed his residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. Dr. Fankhauser joined Direct Care Clinic of Northwest Arkansas in August 2014 as one of the founding physicians.

At Direct Care Clinic, Dr. Fankhauser embraces the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, emphasizing unlimited access, longer appointments, and a personal relationship with each patient. By eliminating third‑party insurance, he can spend more time listening, coordinating care, and providing preventive services without the constraints of traditional fee‑for‑service visits. His practice philosophy centers on patient‑focused, affordable, and high‑quality care for individuals and families of all ages.
