Jill Clay

Dr. Jill Clay earned her Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M University and completed her residency in Honolulu, Hawaii. After serving seven years as a physician in the U.S. Army, she settled in Gatesville, Texas, where she and her husband, Dr. Brit Clay, a local veterinarian, raise their three children. Outside of medicine, Dr. Clay enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Clay joined Uncommon Healthcare, a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in Waco, Texas, a few years ago. Embracing the DPC philosophy, she provides patients with extended, unrushed visits, transparent pricing, and a focus on building long‑term relationships. Her approach emphasizes preventive care, personalized treatment plans, and cost‑effective access to labs and imaging, aligning with the practice’s mission to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered primary care without the constraints of traditional insurance models.
