JEREMY SMITH
Family Medicine
About
Dr. Jeremy Smith has worked in healthcare for more than 17 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Midwestern State University and his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. After completing his residency in Family Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler, he began practicing medicine in Nacogdoches. He is a husband and father of three, which gives him a personal understanding of family health needs.
In 2014 Dr. Smith founded MyMD Select, embracing the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model to provide patients with affordable, transparent, and relationship‑focused care. He believes the traditional system is broken and strives to spend the time needed to listen, treat root causes, and empower patients to take control of their health. This philosophy drives his practice across East Texas, including the Lufkin location.
