Jennifer Nomides

Dr. Jennifer Nomides, MD, MPH, serves as the medical director, co‑owner, and a physician at Coastal Direct Health & Wellness, a Direct Primary Care family medicine clinic in Leland, North Carolina. She is dedicated to creating a slower‑paced, nurturing environment that emphasizes preventative care, authentic patient relationships, and removing insurance barriers so members receive personalized, uninterrupted care.

She earned a B.S. in Marine Biology (with a minor in Chemistry) from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2003, then pursued both her Medical Degree and a Master’s in Public Health (Health Behavior and Health Education, with a certificate in Global Health) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing her MD in 2012. Dr. Nomides completed a family medicine residency at Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura, California, and has been board certified in Family Medicine since 2014.

In addition to her role at the practice, she works as a hospitalist at Novant Health and serves as Medical Director for Horizons Health. She enjoys spending time with her patients, reading, camping, running, and being on the beach, reflecting her commitment to holistic wellness both professionally and personally.
