About
Dr. Mills was born and raised in Lubbock, TX. She attended Texas A&M University for her undergraduate degree and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School for her MD, graduating in 2004. She then completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington (2004‑2007), where she fell in love with the Northwest and has remained ever since. After residency she practiced as an internal medicine hospitalist and later as a palliative care physician at Overlake Medical Center.
She joined Bellevue Medical Partners in 2013 and embraces a Direct Primary Care model that allows her to spend ample time with each patient, blending evidence‑based medicine with the art of personalized care. Dr. Mills is passionate about patient and family education, serves on the medical staff at Overlake Medical Center, and is active in professional societies. In her spare time she enjoys travel, martial arts, running, hiking, biking, and time with her family.
