JENNIFER MCCABE LENTZ

Dr. Jennifer McCabe Lentz graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2001 and completed her Family Medicine residency at Fort Collins in 2004. After several years practicing in a rural community in Washington, she returned to Northern Colorado and, in 2018, founded Direct Family Care of Northern Colorado to practice medicine in a Direct Primary Care model. Dr. Lentz is board‑certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine and integrates nutrition, lifestyle counseling, and advanced metabolic health techniques into her practice.

In her DPC practice she emphasizes unhurried, personalized care that removes the barriers of traditional insurance‑based systems. Patients receive extended visits, direct communication via phone, text, or video, and access to wholesale‑priced medications and labs. Dr. Lentz’s philosophy centers on building true doctor‑patient partnerships, helping patients stay healthy through preventive measures, and reversing disease when it occurs, especially metabolic and obesity‑related conditions.
