Jeffrey Shukhman

Dr. Jeffrey Shukhman is an osteopathic physician who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. He is a leading direct primary care provider in Los Angeles County for weight loss, wellness, and ongoing primary care. He’s led an active lifestyle from a young age. Dr. Shukhman is passionate about the role of sports, fitness, and positive lifestyle choices as the foundation of lifelong health and wellness. He started playing ice hockey at just four years old. His love of sports continued throughout his adult life, where he hopes to pass on his enthusiasm for fitness and fun to his two young boys. Of course, Dr. Shukhman knows leading a healthy lifestyle isn't always a linear path. At age 16, he was involved in a car accident with an 18-wheeler truck. The setback and subsequent recovery took him off the ice and into the world of medicine, where he discovered his drive for empowering wellness. Dr. Shukhman completed his Bachelor's in Biochemistry and Master's in Biomedical Sciences, followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at AZCOM. He went on to complete his residency training in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. His most recent achievement is becoming board certified in Obesity Medicine. Dr. Shukhman prides himself on being an osteopathic physician and practicing the osteopathic philosophy. He strives to find the root of a patient’s problem and uses a “whole” person approach to his care. He utilizes osteopathic manipulative medicine when necessary to diagnose and treat certain conditions.
