JEFFREY CARDWELL

Jeffrey Cardwell, MD, family medicine specialist at The Art of Medicine Direct, PLLC, uses best practices and guidelines to set goals for the men and women of Charlotte, North Carolina, that help them enjoy healthy and happy lives. He applies these principles of healing to each individual, personalizing health care to be relevant to each situation and allowing each person to make the best health choices. Dr. Cardwell’s beliefs led him to use the direct primary care model after 27 years of practice as a family physician for University Family Physicians, located in Charlotte, and Novant Health Lakeside Family Physicians — Prosperity Church. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Miami and a medical degree from the University of Florida School of Medicine, Dr. Cardwell left the Sunshine State to complete his residency at Carolinas HealthCare System. He currently lives with his family in Davidson, and enjoys planning events with his wife Phillis, like their 30-year anniversary, and raising his four children: Christopher, Gabriella, Chancellor, and Ava.
