JAN HESTER

Dr. Jan Hester, M.D. is a Colorado native who earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Denver and her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She completed a Family Practice residency at the University of Colorado and served four years on active duty with the U.S. Air Force, leaving the service as a major. After her military service she practiced family medicine in Davis, California before returning to Colorado in 2004 to open her own solo practice in Fort Collins. Dr. Hester’s Direct Primary Care (DPC) model emphasizes a membership‑based relationship that provides patients with easy access to acute, chronic, and preventive care, allowing her to spend more time with each patient and focus on long‑term health outcomes. In her spare time she enjoys hot yoga, family activities, and reading.
