Dr. James Terry earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Austin College, a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology Sciences from UT Health Science Center at Dallas, and his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After completing his residency in Family Medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital, he began serving the Mid‑Cities community in 1987, building a reputation for compassionate, comprehensive family care.
In 2018 Dr. Terry founded Mid Cities Direct Primary Care, embracing the Direct Primary Care model to prioritize long‑term patient relationships, unlimited access, and transparent, membership‑based pricing.
