JACQUELINE GIERER

Dr. Jacqueline Gierer, DO, FACP is a board‑certified internal medicine physician who graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012 and completed her internal medicine residency at Beaumont Royal Oak in 2015, serving as chief resident the following year. She founded Sound Internal Medicine, a direct primary care (DPC) practice that emphasizes personalized, relationship‑based care and high‑quality, evidence‑based medicine.

At Sound Internal Medicine she combines a concierge‑style model with same‑day access, extended visits, and direct communication via phone, video, and email, embodying the DPC philosophy of accessibility and continuity. Dr. Gierer is also recognized as an expert in maternal medicine and the "fourth trimester," integrating primary care with obstetric support. She serves as an assistant professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, faculty for Beaumont Internal Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology, and is a member of the Governor’s Council of the American College of Physicians – Michigan Chapter.
