Jaclyn Harris
Internal Medicine
About
Dr. Jaclyn Harris, DO, is an Arizona native who grew up in Glendale and Surprise before settling in the Northwest Valley with her husband, three children, and two dogs. She is board‑certified in Internal Medicine and also a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. After graduating from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, she commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force, completed her Internal Medicine residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, and served in both the Air Force Reserve and civilian tele‑medicine roles while pursuing additional training in Obesity Medicine and Menopausal Women’s Health.
Recognizing that the traditional primary‑care model often limits the time a physician can spend with each patient, Dr. Harris founded Desert Direct Primary Care. She believes that Direct Primary Care allows her to provide comprehensive, personalized care without the constraints of insurance paperwork or rushed visits. Her practice emphasizes preventive health, weight‑loss management, and a patient‑centered approach that builds long‑term relationships and empowers patients to take charge of their health.
