HEATHER HYUN

Dr. Heather Hyun grew up in a suburb of Chicago and moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Critical Studies and Film Production. She later worked as a film and television sound‑effects editor and trained extensively in Korean martial arts, achieving a black belt in Tae Soo Do and studying under a licensed acupuncturist in Tui‑Na manual manipulation.

After completing medical school, Dr. Hyun attended the Glendale Adventist Family Medicine Residency Program, earning a Medical Acupuncture Certification through the Helms Medical Institute. She is dual‑board certified in Family Medicine and Integrative (Holistic) Medicine and now provides Direct Primary Care with an emphasis on whole‑person health, osteopathic manipulative medicine, acupuncture, and integrative therapies.
