GREGORY WHEELER

Dr. Greg Wheeler has been a life‑long learner and a man of action who loves to solve problems. His desire to diagnose and implement a solution was ignited during his undergraduate years at Virginia Wesleyan College when he earned his bachelor's in Mathematics and Computer Science. He continued that pursuit with a Master’s in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary. Dr. Wheeler then applied his technical skills at NASA’s Langley Air Force Base and helped maintain the power grid for Mid‑American Energy in Iowa as a systems administrator. Following a spiritual calling, he entered medical school and earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University in Iowa. Now, as a board‑certified Emergency Medicine physician, Dr. Wheeler leverages his diverse background to keep patients out of the emergency department, emphasizing root‑cause analysis, holistic care, and the Direct Primary Care model that prioritizes patient‑physician relationships and transparency.
