Dr. Ghada Harsouni, or simply Dr. H, completed her pediatric training at Weill Cornell New York Presbyterian in 2015. After completing her residency, she primarily served at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit and also directed a refugee clinic in Hamtramck for seven years, providing care to underserved populations. When she moved to Ann Arbor for her husband’s job, she chose to continue practicing medicine at a slower pace through Direct Primary Care, opening Honeybee Pediatrics and Lactation.
At Honeybee Pediatrics and Lactation, Dr. H embraces a DPC philosophy that emphasizes personalized, convenient care. Families receive direct access via text or phone, home visits after hospital discharge, and a practice model that avoids insurance billing for routine care, allowing her to focus on each child’s unique needs. She also runs community projects such as Honeybee’s Mini Med School for young children and enjoys creative pursuits like balloon decorating and embroidery.
