FRANCIS DUMONT
Family Medicine
About
Dr. Frank Dumont, a longtime Mt. Washington and Anderson resident, is a beloved figure in the local community. Having survived the infamous Beverly Hills Supper Club fire as a young man, his call to action was to help others based on this experience. He joined the Anderson Township Fire Department as a volunteer and trained as an EMT/Paramedic and firefighter, which inspired his pursuit of medicine. He earned his MD from the University of Cincinnati in 1990 and completed his residency and chief residency in Family Medicine at the same institution in 1993. Dr. Dumont’s philosophy at McGilligan MD Direct Primary Care emphasizes personal, relationship‑based care: he builds trust through active listening, gets to know each patient’s unique goals, and coordinates care to keep patients healthy without the barriers of insurance bureaucracy. Outside the office, he enjoys music and spending time with his six grandchildren, reflecting his deep commitment to family and community.
