Eva Mackey

Dr. Eva Mackey Meyrat, MD was born in Austin, Texas. Much of her childhood was spent abroad with her mother but when not traveling she was in Austin. She earned her undergraduate degree at St. Edward’s University in Austin and attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Eva completed her residency at St. Anthony’s Family Medicine Residency in Denver, CO and is board‑certified in Family Medicine. She has been practicing Family Medicine in the Rockwall/Rowlett/Garland/Mesquite area for the past 19 years, previously working for the Baylor Family Health Center of Mesquite. In 2017 she left Baylor to open Gem MD, a Direct Primary Care clinic focused on providing high‑quality, affordable, patient‑centered primary care without the bureaucratic hassles of traditional insurance models.
